It seems everyone’s linking to it and I’m trying to figure out why. It’s nothing more than a photoblog. If we’re too believe these are West’s actual likes and not a very unclever marketing ploy, then I can say that Kanye’s blog looks like my bookmarks. That is, when I’m at my computer, I have a window full of open tabs to design pages just to see if something new is coming up. In fact, just looking at the first 3 pages of the blog, looks like Kanye just raided my bookmarks.

I see all the comments on the blog and wonder, do those people really like the modern design stuff posted? I can’t see that. I mean, I have friend who work in design houses and even they don’t like all the stuff. I have very few friends who actually like any sort of modern design. They look at blogs like Curbed LA and scoff. Yet, even they have Kanye’s blog linked on theirs.

So, what’s the deal? I see more comments posted to one photo on West’s blog, than total on the blog of the actual designer. Are those people just West fanatics? Posers? Or what?
