So, when you decipher the incoherent babbling of the Republican pundit class, you learn that Rush Limbaugh doesn’t like McCain (or anyone). Yawn. Who cares what Rush thinks right? Well there are still mindless drones who hang on the drug addict’s every word. I’m going out on a limb here to say that Sen. Bob Dole is one of those drones because he chose to waste his time writing a letter to Limbaugh extolling the virtues of Sen McCain.

That was nice of him, you say. Surely, Mitt Romney would be jealous of McCain having a quasi-respected former Senator in his corner:

In a FOX interview Tuesday morning, Romney had said the former Kansas senator was “probably the last person I would have wanted to have write a letter for me.”

Damn yo…that’s some serious shit talking from a guy conservatives don’t even like. I mean, if I walked up on some people told them that I was going to be their leader, and they made it known that they don’t like me, and someone they respect stands up for someone else, I’d be shitting my pants. I’d be like Hillary Clinton saying anything to get people to say nice things about me. Not Mitt.

Mitt said, “Fuck all ya’ll AND yo mamas.”

Needless to say, Romney then full backed away from his previous comment:

A short time later, Romney also referred to Dole as “an American hero.” He added that he would love to have the former senator’s support for his own bid.

“I think very highly of Sen. Dole,” he said, and had merely intended to criticize “the mental set that says we should choose our nominee based on how many years they’ve served and how long they’ve waited in line.” He added that he did not think McCain will benefit from the letter.

Chump.
