Your favorite quotes
Over at Poplicks, Junichi has a list oftop quotes of the year. My favorite quote from Joe Biden from one of the 78 million debates this year, made the list:
“Rudy Giuliani… I mean, think about it! Rudy Giuliani. There’s only three things he mentions in a sentence — a noun, a verb, and 9/11.
Great quote, eh? But really, you have to know the lead up to that:
Classic.
I read through the list, giggled at the MILF quote and found a quote from Madonna that just left me on the floor for a good 5 minutes:
“I want to be like Gandhi and Martin Luther King and John Lennon – but I want to stay alive.”
The Immaterial Girl really said that. I had to look it up to make sure it wasn’t one of those internet rampant quotes that get attributed to someone but winds up being like those GOP-blog circle jerks of quoting.
While you’re there, you may also want to check out Junichi’s Top 100 Songs of 2007, complete with all the songs already loaded into a player for you. Sweet. Sadly, I’ve only heard 4 of those songs and I kinda have no interest in any of them.
