I’m beyond words actually. This simply can’t be right. I thought the highest I’d score would be in the high 40s.

I’m sad. After a lot of chats with people, I got talked into go to the New Media Expo in Las Vegas. Yay! Oh, problem, rooms will be $400 and I do not have that money. So, if any of you know of any sane women attending the New Media Expo who happen to need a roommate, let me know.

That’s why I’m ignoring you.  Well, that and the fact that I couldn’t access a damn self-hosted of MU Wordpress blog for the past week or so.  Craptastic stupidity I tell you!

Anyway, I still don’t have much to blog about.  My sister and family have gone back to France.  I got a new phone. I’m crackdicted to plurk. And I still need to use my plane tickets in the next 3 weeks.

To make it worse, nothing of interest has happened politically in like 3 weeks. Not a damn thing.

I’m bored.

I want these fools to pick their running mates already so that I can start mocking the bad choice.  I think that McCain is going to go with Gov. Crist, just based on his most recent stupid shallow comments on
what his VP should look like.  And now that I’ve found that Gov. Crist has gotten engaged to his beard, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a quick wedding before the end of August.

Other than that it’s all McCain saying something stupid, the media ignoring it, McCain surrogate saying something stupid, media almost ignoring it…Media is obsession on how to cover Obama says a lot more about their inherent ignorance and racism than any of the stupid articles from the spring could have.

So, blah, blah, blah….I’ll probably post some of my silly 12seconds.tv clips out of boredom.

Thank you, thank you…I still need to get SamProof out of my life. There was a day back in June when I was the #1 Plurker, but it must have been a glitch because Sam was nowhere to be seen. But as you can see, I’m gaining on him in the supremely stupid Karma category.

I want to thank my plurkbuddies for being such wondering and interesting conversationalists. They keep me laughing and sane throughout the day. Feel free to drop in on my plurk page and join the fun.

You may or may not have heard of Loren Feldman. If you have, I’m sorry. If you haven’t, you’re lucky. I’m not going to get into too much detail, but let’s just say Feldman is something of a verbal masturbater who thinks his video works are great satire. Personally, I think they’re giant yawners and shows that Feldman has no fucking clue about any of the stuff he says he’s satirizing.

Recently, there’s been some Schadenfreude among social media geeks and bloggers because Feldman lost a contract with Verizon over his TechNigga’ “satire”.  Oh well, it sucks to be him.  No one will ever accuse Feldman of being a fair guy or being able to roll with the punches.

I’m sure I’m breaching some kind of netiquette, but frankly don’t give a fuck…this shit killed me:

All because of a little public humiliation…something he does to others all the time.

This is odd.

Yesterday, for the 4th time this year, we went to the Natural History Museum.  This means walking through the rose garden as Exposition Park.  As usual, I fully charged my camera’s battery the night before.  I can usually get about 300 photos on one charge.  Inside the museum, I took about 12 photos and the battery indicator read ‘full’.  Step out to the rose garden and it’s red.

This has happened to me all 4 times this year and 3 times last year.  I even take an extra camera that takes AA batteries, making sure the batteries are new.  When I whip out that camera, the batteries are dead.  My phone, which is fully charged also reads low battery.

It’s the strangest thing.  I’ll try to shoot a photo and the camera will just shut down.  Once we leave the rose garden, everything is back to reading full.  It matters not, where in the rose garden I am.  And to make it worse, it only seems to happen to me.
